Angelo’s Apothecary was born out of necessity and a longing for financial independence. As a disabled, transgender woman, Meetri’a wanted to get away from the dependence of SSDI. As the system of employment cut programs helping disabled people get hired for employment, she chose to take destiny into her own hands and she started her own business. The apothecary started out with lip care products such as balms and scrubs. With a business plan to evolve into skin care, cosmetics and perfumes using all natural ingredients.
